The council planned to relaunch its Invest in South Lakeland web site in 2018 and awarded Trafalgar PR the contract to provide communications support.  Working with a dedicated social media specialist partner, TPR developed a plan to use communications activity across conventional media and on-line channels to promote the web site and the broader activity of the council’s Economic Development team.  Much of this involved creating new content for posts on LinkedIn, Twitter and a new Facebook page for Invest in South Lakeland.  We also arranged a competition with a local hotel to on-line encourage engagement and worked with business…

Ulverston Flag Fortnight is one of the many festivals which take place each year in Ulverston in South Cumbria.  It has a special place in my heart because it emulates one of the key principals of PR - it is quite literally a 'flag-waving exercise'.
